As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies — in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1Peter 4:10-11 ESV
He has blessed with unexpected opportunities to shine for Him and use the gifts He’s given for His glory. So with great trepidation and fear of stealing glory from Him, I share the most recent development in this journey as author.
Remember the writer’s conference? the one that led to submitting the Christmas devotional I wrote for the Christian Literary Award sponsored by Joy & Co.? which led to the online radio interview on The Review?
Well, The Heart of Bethlehem: A Twenty-Five Day Journey of Faith for the Christmas Season is one of the nominees for the award in the category of Devotional: Moments with God.

Oh glory! The places a few steps of obedience lead you.
Just sharing this news is humbling. And all the glory definitely goes to Him. But there is a favor to ask of you. At least any who have read The Heart of Bethlehem.
In addition to the Henri Award there is an opportunity to receive The Reader’s Choice Award in each category. Polls open on Joy & Co.’s website October 15, 2019 and close October 31 at midnight. If you feel so led, please vote. The books are listed by category, so again, The Heart of Bethlehem is nominated in the Devotional: Moments with God category: JoyAndCompany.org

Praying this opportunity will draw more to Him and not me.
Oh… and just in case you want to attend? Tickets are available on Joy & Co.’s website too!
Where has He opened doors and blessed you with opportunities to glorify Him?
Don’t miss the moment. Either by way of false humility or pride.
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.
