He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Isaiah 53:2-3 NIV

The Uncontainable Creator emptied Himself to become one of His creations – the smallest most vulnerable of all creatures – a human embryo. Leaving behind infinite resources He became the son of a poor carpenter. His unlimited nature reduced to bear the human condition: fatigue, hunger, pain, temptation.

He accepted utter humiliation to carry our sins before God. He endured the fullness of the Father’s wrath for offenses He didn’t commit. Unjustly executed. on. a. cross.

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?
Psalm 22:1 ESV

All for you. He embraced humiliation to restore relationship, to make you whole, to heal your wounds. How will you respond?
