46: Having no other gods in your life settles all the rest.
To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Him.
Deuteronomy 4:35 NKJV
Having seen, we believe and receive His freeing grace. With believing comes the command: you shall have no other gods. Herein lies the foundation for following all the rest of His laws.
Serving Him alone as the One true God, we bear witness to the truth of who He is through our faithful obedience.
“You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior. …”

We are prone to wander therefore He first commands His people not to let anything take His place in their lives.
