93: God establishes order for your family.
Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Make much of your parents. God wants His people to honor, respect, and esteem those He used to give them life. Those whom He gave the honor of caring for you. Herein is what lies at the heart of the fifth commandment written in stone.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.”
