107 truths about God, the world, and you.
69: You must not kill people or their dignity.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:13-14 NIV
God knits together every person in His image. Because everyone is His wonder-full creation, we are to honor each life from conception to death.
We are not to kill people physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. We are not to consume them for our pleasure or benefit. We are not to snuff out their worth, their future, or their faith.
“You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell. …” –Jesus
Matthew 5:21-22 NLT
How and where might you be “killing” yourself or others through misuse? abuse? disrespect?
Consider how to restore the dignity of life: yours and others.
