The seventh command of the ten – “No adultery” – requires sexual purity[1]: physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally.
God calls His people to see themselves and others from His perspective. The order He established in the beginning is the design for the preservation of individuals and families. The foundation of healthy societies and peaceful communities.
The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
1Timothy 1:5 ESV
Loving God and others require seeing life through Christ’s sacrifice. Concern for the eternal nature of the spirit far outweighs the temporary desires of the flesh.
