107 truths about God, the world, and you.
74: God wants you to trust His provision.

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
Psalm 23:1 NLT
At the heart of the eighth commandment – You must not steal – is the call to trust God’s sovereignty and provision in all things.
He gives for His purpose as He sees fit. He distributes wealth, health, truth, and grace according to His wisdom and desire. As generously as He provides for us, we are to share with others.
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
Philippians 2:3-4 NLT
Do you trust God to provide for your needs today? tomorrow?
Are you as concerned for the needs of others as you are for your own?
Today, ask God to move you toward a deeper trust in His provision and a willingness to obey His call to share what He gives.
