God’s blessings include the means to work and be productive. In response, His people are not to be stingy or greedy, but make way for others to earn, too.
Believers are forbidden to exploit the potential of others through deceit, fraud, or minimization. The eighth commandment – No stealing – includes stripping away someone’s dignity.
If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.

Consider today where you might be exploiting others and stealing their dignity.
Then ask yourself: In our capitalistic society, how do we make way for those on the margin, the materially and spiritually poor, to regain their dignity through work?
