107 truths about God, the world, and you.
83: Your sins are the worst.

“And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating. But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. …” – Jesus
Luke 12:47-48 ESV
God is Judge. He weighs sins differently, each receiving punishment as He determines. Only He can discern the evil intent behind each sin.
It is not our job to measure one sin against another – we are wholly incapable of making such judgments. Our primary concern should be our sins. Let any judging we do begin with our own heart.
“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” – Jesus
Matthew 7:3 ESV
We should see ourselves as the worst of sinners.
Seek God’s judgment when it comes to your attitude toward sin. When He convicts, confess and repent. Receive His grace and forgiveness.
