85: God made a way for you to escape His wrath.
God didn’t set us up for an angry rejection but for salvation by our Master, Jesus Christ. He died for us, a death that triggered life.

Even before He spoke a word of creation, He knew we would need an escape route from death. Jesus is the Escape Hatch. Only by placing faith and trust in Jesus are we saved from facing God’s righteous wrath.
In love, He devised a plan to uphold His righteousness and make us right too. Here is the place we find peace with God – faith in Christ and repentance – coming into agreement with Him about sin and pursuing His way of love as the way of life.
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
